king’s kids

weekend worship

King’s Church offers weekly programming for children from birth through 5th grade during our Sunday morning worship, and special times throughout the year. Children are also welcome to remain with their families for the entire worship service. Our worship atmosphere is supernatural, but also family-friendly!

Children’s programming begins at the same time as main worship: 10 am. Children may be checked in as early as as 9:40 am. We ask that you pick them up from their classroom following the morning worship service.

On occasional Sundays, we’ll invite all children over age 5 to remain in “big church” for worship and teaching.   Kid-friendly activity packs, worship flags and streamers will help keep them engaged!

We value the safety and well-being of your children, so when you arrive for Sunday worship, we’ll assist you in registering your children at the check-Kids Check-In desk. And of course, we be glad to introduce you and your children to our children’s ministry staff.

newborn care

For our newest babies, we offer trained and staffed nursery care each week during the entire worship service.  For nursing mothers, we’ve designed a private and comfortable Mother-Baby Room in our secure children’s ministry area, complete with rockers, changing table, and a livestream of the service.  Ask someone with a nametag, and they’ll get you access.

American Heritage Girls

Program Overview

AHG focuses on providing forward-focusing Christian programming that is rich in opportunities for girls of all ages and abilities. As girls grow and change, so should the activities that they do. With each AHG Program Level, girls are introduced to new skills, experiences (including outdoor adventures) and leadership positions, as well as given opportunities to grow closer to the Lord.

Program Levels:

  • Under tender loving leadership from volunteers and older girls in the Troop, Pathfinders (ages 5-6) grow in knowledge and truth. Through fun Troop activities, younger girls can foster their natural curiosity and creativity while learning what it means to be an American Heritage Girl.
  • As Tenderhearts (ages 6-9), young girls learn to explore the world around them through the AHG Program boldly. Tenderhearts grow in their faith and life skills through Troop activities, service and leadership opportunities, outdoor adventures, and earned achievements.
  • Ready to take on more responsibility, Explorers (ges 9-12) are eager to grow in all areas of AHG. As Explorers progress through the AHG Program, they will have greater opportunities for service, leadership, and life skill experiences.
  • Pioneers (ages 12-14) are given the opportunity to find out who they truly are in Christ. Girls are encouraged to explore their interests and abilities in a safe environment.
  • Teenage girls in the Patriot (ages 14-18) level  learn life skills vital to adulthood through Troop activities and Girl Leadership opportunities.
